Anita is 18 months and she was just plain giddy on this sunny morning in the Presidio recently. Her hair is silky and sparkly and her curiosity is endless. She’s grown so much since I got to photograph her last summer. New expressions and new mobility….and lots of wonder.
Many of you know I LOVE photographing twins. Double the pleasure. Double the fun.

My dear friend welcomed these delicious beauties into the world recently after many years of anticipating motherhood and I had the honor of snapping them at their beautiful mountaintop home outside of Los Gatos recently….the joy in the room that afternoon is hard to describe!
I can’t believe I haven’t blogged these from last November…..This was the second year in a row I got to photograph “behind the scenes” shots of the GAP casting call finalists. It was such a blast…beautiful, enthusiastic kids and their parents on a very exciting day for them! The winners appear in a major GAP campaign….billboards and signage in every retail location….
I spent two full days on set with top pros in commercial children’s photography for this fabulous ad campaign. Don’t tell the GAP execs but I would do this gig for free I love it so much.

In the feature I reveal my tips and tricks of taking great photos of your infant, toddler or child. I also do this spiel in classes at Day One centers in Palo Alto, San Francisco and Walnut Creek. I love to talk to moms about improving their photography. It’s an important job to document the early years of our offspring! Getting great photos of little ones is often tedious and frustrating to capture. Antsy or defiant toddlers don’t make it very easy. Use these tips and watch your photographs improve dramatically…..

Ava and Kiernan met me at Buena Vista Park on a chilly morning recently. We wandered up the winding trail and discovered new Spring blossoms rising to the peeking through sun rays…Ava is protective and sweet with her little brother….and he wants to copy everything she does….which is nice because Ava loves to give me big dimply smiles…
Sweet Grant just turned 1 and we marked the occasion with some photos with mom and dad. He’s giddy and cuddly and just figuring out his mobility as he waddles down the sidewalk. What a pleasure to get to capture him!
