I got to photograph my first Bar Mitzvah in Hillsborough a couple of weeks ago. Eli had a wonderful party, and he was so poised and impressive in his presentation. Wow. What a wonderful day to honor such an amazing milestone in a young man’s life. Everyone had a blast. There were lots of adults in attendance, but as you know, I like to photograph kids…I’m always drawn to their expressions! Here’s some of my favorites…
Jasmine turned 5 this weekend and we had such a good time celebrating with friends. She has been talking about her birthday for months and was so excited for the big day. After bringing bbq’ed chicken and salads and lots of libations to the park, I realized I forgot my camera. My dear friend Vikki captured Jasmine on the grass and I’m so grateful….she doesn’t sit still when I try to photograph her, OR she hams it up just a bit too much….so this is perfect. 
Last time I saw Mailee she was 18 months old and we met at her apartment in Brooklyn. What a difference 3.5 yrs makes! She’s beautiful and determined and sweet with her little brother who is in a major stage of discovery. Now they are living in California. It was delightful to meet them on this sunny but not-too-hot afternoon and capture them together.
Oh geez this family is adorable. Yes, they are as precious and fun as they look here in real life. I love getting to document their childhood together! Caitlin is super smart and a little bit goofy, her baby brother Graham is determined and working hard to keep up with the older ones, and middle brother James is soo charming and delightful. I wish I was at their house playing with them today instead of stuck behind my computer!
This is Gale. He wasn’t so sure about me at first, but then he realized getting photos done is fun! He is curious and energetic and I had so much fun with him in his backyard in San Francisco recently. What a fun age to capture with his mom and dad. Can’t wait for next time!
These 3 cuties live in the most beautiful place…along rolling hills in Tiburon. We met early on a Sunday morning and I got to capture bathtime before we headed outside for some sunny-day shots….Jack is in constant motion, little Alexa just gazes merrily at everything and Nate, the oldest, cheerful responds to my every request. Wow.
Hudson is a brand new walker and she is absolutely thrilled about her new mobility. She’s unstoppable. If she was talking yet she would be saying “Yippee! Look at me! Look how fast I can go!” Her expressions said all this and more. ;P
